About Us

Our Values

Our History

Our History

Our values are rooted in an understanding of what human services is all about. It is rooted in an understanding of the trauma caused by domestic violence and human trafficking. Therefore, our values are to treat every woman with the dignity and respect she deserves, notwithstanding her past.

We value and appreciate all that diversity has to offer; therefore, we do not discriminate on the basis of race, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability or socioeconomic status.

And finally, we value transparency and integrity, as an organization is only as good as the standards it upholds.

Our History

Our History

HOOC, NFP was founded in 2015 and received it's tax-exempt status in 2016. Based in Anaheim, CA, with a location coming to Columbus, OH soon. We are an organization totally geared towards empowering women to live the lives they desire, and most important, rightfully deserve. We do this through the provision of services that target confidence, personal safety, self-esteem and emotional support.

Our Goals

Our History

Our Goals

HOOC, NFP is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide free strength-based and trauma-informed supportive services to women, 18 years and over, who have either been victims/survivors of domestic violence and/or human trafficking.

Our services are designed to uplift, encourage and inspire women to feel safe, empowered in their choices, well-informed, self-confident, and secure in their newfound independence.

Our vision is to provide immediate long-term housing (18-months) to help women prepare for independence and making healthy life choices.

We will be a holistic long-term housing program where women will have access to housing, case management, legal advocay and emotional support--- all while in a safe, homey environment where women can grow, learn and receive the help needed to become self-sufficient permanently.
